Hi everyone!

I got a letter today from CIC about my husband's PR card. They have requested new photos. My husband is currently out of Canada and will now have to apply for a travel document. In the mean time will re-send these requirements. Any idea how long does it take to a travel document? My husband is in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. If anyone has any general idea of the process work and time frame please let me know. He had landed on sept 26th. It took 4 months to hear back only for a new photo requirement. I feel so frustated! He can't even return back now as soon as he wants too.
Dont know about riyadh but it generally takes 2-4 weeks

Can any one please tell me how much time it usually takes to get the PR card after resending the photo for PR card...

Need to know this information urgently in order to make certain decisions.... thanks :)

I checked the travel document, but it says to apply from the country I'm going to, and I contacted them there and they said it takes 10 days plus shipping time. Is there any ways to apply through Canada?

I would suggest stay there for another more week. Also, write the letter of explanation you may receive PRTD faster and you should pick-up by yourself. Do not let them courier to you.

I don't think we can apply PRTD within Canada.

OMG - think I'm going to call them, I landed Oct 7 (inland) just to even see if they need photos, what a joke!
Also see they changed it to 105 days processing.

Wish you luck!

is the photo request include all family or part of the family , I mean did they accept some of the photos or they rejected all .

I've just been on live chat with VFS in London (as I am travelling to the UK next month).

I asked if I could get a PRTD in one day if I submit in person and was told no. The PRTD takes 5 working days to process, depending on the High Commission (whatever that means) as well as postal times too, I guess.

Wish you will get PRTD rest than a week.

Have a great trip.
