This is insanity!
I have landed on October 15th. It has been more than a 3 months wait! The processing time keeps increasing. It was 42 days in October, now it is 100 days.
Why it this happening? What is the problem to print a plastic card ? Agents from call center either do not want to say anything, or give a random date.
Is there hidden purpose why they don't want to give these PR cards ?
If everything in Canada is done in this manner, why it is called "a developed country" ?
Because, there is HUGE line of qualified people wanting to migrate to that country. Leaving behind their friends, family, culture, everything that identifies the individual. There is some about that country qualified people around wanting to sacrifice everything to migrate to that country.

its looks like people have very short memory of life in their home country. Moment they get the PR, they forget the past and pretend different.

Are you arguing that the current PRC process is not ridiculous?

Congratulations..hope we all receive our cards soon.

How can it take 100+ days to print a simple PR Card.... I print cards like these in my job every day for clients and we fetch their information from a external database server much like what the CIC will do (Your name, Address, PR Status, picture etc)

I work for a Similar company ( I cant say the name as they're huge and everyone needs a ID card) It is a 20 second automated process once you load up your information in the database and then send it to the card to get printed- its easy possible to do over 300+ in a day, why does this take 100 days to complete? I CANT EVEN DO THE MATH HOW MANY I WOULD DO IN 100 DAYS, I ATTEMPTED AND FAILED...ITS IN THE HUNDARDS OF THOUSANDS

I think its because there are 2 people doing for the WHOLE of CANADA, TWO PEOPLE in a small room together with Literally THOUSANDS of files and in boxes which need to be created and processed....

I feel so embarrassed for them

Before landing my mailing address on ECAS was for my agent present in toronto, who was handling all the documentation for me. When I landed on 5th October on Pearson airport I provided the new mailing address for my the place where I was going to reside and specifically mentioned the processing agent at the airport (who also asked herself the mailing address where the PR will be delivered) to use my new address for the PR card. But still on ECAS I'm seeing my agent's mailing address and so far no updated regarding the PR card delivery. Should I update the mailing address online on ECAS as well, as I'm afraid that this might delay the processing ever more?

If you're concerned, call CIC to confirm your address. ECAS is notorious for updating very late, and sometimes never updating at all. It's less than useful - it's often misleading.

Hi Everyone,

I think im in the wrong thread here, but any advice and guidance would be much appreciated:)

Recently have been nominated by Ontario (13th Jan '16). I havent received ITA yet. How long did it take for you to receive it? What are the normal waiting times.
Once you receive an ITA, and sending all the required docs, medicals, how long does it take for them to come to a decision?

Its not printing of the card but the red take associated with the process. Also, the cards are lot more secure as compared to simple HID cards used in offices. If u want to compare my AADHAR card took 1 years to be processed in India. So, chill.

I think you are right. The processing times are so ridiculous and the wait is frustrating.
Beside that they keep on increasing the processing times.
From 44 days to 100 days thats so much

so, you recognize that it's the wrong thread, yet go on with off topic. Doesn't make sense.

Personally I see that you are the meanest member of this thread. You can be nicer and stop critisising everyone
