Hello all, a simple question but I do not have other source to ask.

I got my passport stamped with 1 entry permit to Canada. It is only valid for 3 moths and the note says it cannot be extended.

It is very difficult for me to settle down to Canada in 3 months. After I enter, will they give me a document which will allow me to travel back and forth? Because first I have to find a gouse and then go back to pic up my family and some stuff.

Please help. Thanks!
The immigration visa in only valid for 1 entry and you should complete the landing before the expiration of the visa. So you and your family will have to go there before the end of the 3 months.
If you want to travel back to your country before receiving the pr you will have to apply for travel document in your country so you can reemter canada.

Guys is there any relation between the issuance of the card and the change of the mailing address on ECAS

I had found that my adress is changed today to Canada adress after landing

Also please advise when the status will be changed to complete after landing

Just an advice, you totally do NOT have to call CIC to inquire PR card progress. Calling them to make you comfortable is just a placebo effect. Nothing will change. They just give you a new due date 2 or 3 weeks after the day you call.

I have a question - anyone landed in YVR in late-Sep or Oct received your card?

Hi guys,

- I landed on September 29, 2015 in Vancouver, BC
- Address changed on December 10, 2015
- PR Card received on January 14, 2016
- I was not asked to resend photos
- ECAS status: Complete
- no info on ECAS about PR Card

The funny thing is that last week I called CIC to ask what is the status of my card and they told me my PR Card will be processed starting with December 10, 2015 when I changed my address and that I need to wait 3 months to receive it.
And surprise... I've received my PR Card today :) So, CIC is completely useless! :(

For those who are waiting, good luck to receive your PR Card's soon!

Have you recd any email notification like below?
