Nice to see a positive reply. What is your landing date? Im a november applicant ...and hopi ng that to get tve card by feb end or match...
I landed in november also and the agent to me to exclect it at the begining of february.
And to be honest thats what all the applicants who didnt pass the deadline should expect because if 100 persones landed on the same date and 10 didnt receive the card on time we cant generalise.
The forum is to discuss the problems but the people who are receiving pr cards on time and they are many arent posting that they did

28th of OCT 2015,

no card yet

Landed on 25 Sep at Calgary. Got my PR card today in Calgary after 109 days.

Alhamdolillah :D :D

Congrats bro...

Called cic today. the agent told me that the delay is due to mechanical problems in printing the cards. I specifically asked whether my PR card application is processed or not. He said yes, it is with Printing team and it will take 5-6 weeks from now to receive my cards.
The time I landed, the processing time was 42-45 days and now it shows 87 days (+6 weeks to dispatch the card). This is really not done. Not sure when will i receive the cards.

Dears

I had landis in 1/1 /2016 when do you expect that I get my PR card , is it ok to leave Canada before getting the card , is there any possibility that I will face problem to get the travel documents if i need to return back before getting PR

Hahah i'm praying day and night to receive it on time. She also noted that if processing times decrease the excpected time will decrease

When CIC say your card is in processing what does that mean? what stage is that?

That means you are no more in que and they have started reviewing your application and documents before approving it for printing.

okay thank you very much!

Still no access to information on ECAS. I'm not calling again as they said my card had been sent to production, but it's not in the mailbox yet.

After I receive the card I intend to fill out the feedback form on CIC: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/feedback-retroaction/feedback-retroaction-eng.aspx

I will submit it as a complaint, and tell them that their communication is terrible and that if they would just keep people informed it would be a lot less stressful. I would recommend that others also fill out a complaint (keep it polite) so that hopefully future candidates don't have to go through what we're all going through. If CIC was a private business I'd take my business elsewhere - they only get away with it because there's no other options and no recourse if you're not happy.

Is it really too much to ask to be kept informed of the process? I don't think this is an unreasonable request.
