Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Woo! Agent said that the application has been approved and they are producing the card, but it has not been mailed yet.

From what others have said on this forum, the actual production only takes a couple of days - does that sound right to you guys? So hopefully the card will be mailed by the end of the week and I'll get it late next week or early the week after.

I suspect that they all returned to work this past Monday 4th January.

OK, I'm on hold... if this is a bust again this will be the last time I call. I've spent about 2 hours of my life listening to that horrible hold music that I can never get back.

I got through in 20 minutes. When I said 2 hours I meant all the times I've called them added together.

Mother and brother Landed at Pearson on 6 Oct.
Received mom's PR card in mail today.
Card expiry 30 dec 2020.
Still Waiting for brother's card.
Was able to login with both COPR .
But was able to see home address and status COMPLETE on mothers ecas only.

Good luck to you! I just called them and was told that they have no idea of what's happening with my son's application so they have finally poked CIC to take action (who would be contacting me via either email or a letter).

Hi friends,

I just call CIC (Singapore time 0800 hrs morning) to +16139444000, and agent check for my wife PR card, and she told me that my wife PR card is ready on Jan 26,2016. She only provide that information.

Immigration sent out on 24 dec mine and on 26 sent out of my husband
Received mine on 4 jan and husband on 5 jan
Issued on 20 dec...

Why several people landed in Oct got their cards but we late-September-ers don't?

As discussed earlier.
Files are alotted to different officers.
Sometimes delays due to slow agent , human error or long que in that specific officer tabĺe, sometimes system error for that officer, etc etc...
Sometimes delay due to incomplete file within cic or difficult case...
Some immigrants landed in may received pr card in jan..
