I also landed on 30 sept. My wife recd PR card but not me. I called CIC yest and they dont have any status and I have not recd any kind of email.

Still no information on ECAS since I received the AOR email for the card. Might try and call today, but got a busy day ahead of me so not sure if I'll find time.

Hi everybody I just called immigration I landed on October 6 Montreal office (island application), officer told me that my card has been sent out yesterday

Now I wait ;D

Landed on Oct 17th. Called CIC yesterday, application is in process. Simply says it may take 2 to 3 weeks...

I just noticed on the processing times page (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/) it no longer suggests that you call CIC and doesn't list a phone number anymore. It just directs you to the case specific enquiry form.

Looks like they're discouraging people from calling - makes sense since they rarely have any information anyway...

My brother who is in canada called on my behalf they told too much rush. Submit case specific enquiry.

OK, I'm on hold... if this is a bust again this will be the last time I call. I've spent about 2 hours of my life listening to that horrible hold music that I can never get back.
