That was exactly what i was going to ask...

I didn't ask my friend the exact date, also there was no date mentioned on scanned letter & photo description page i received from him but he informed me on Sunday so probably consider it between Friday - Sunday.

Ohhhhh....Fri-Sunday was the Christmas period..might he checked his mail box on Sunday.

one way might be...I should send the soft copy of photo by email to my friend and he asked photographer(in Canada) to print the photos & mentioned the name/address/date on the back of any photo.
What you think, is it feasible?

Just take photos wherever are you and send them through courier to your friend or directly to CIC.

But will this not cause problem if the photographer name/address not belongs to Canada.

I dont think it matters. If you want, you can explain in cover letter you are not in Canada right now or visiting home etc. CIC never said that photos should be taken within Canada.

and you can actually also call CIC and I am sure they will say exactly what I said

You don't have to do that. Don't worry, it is perfectly legal to travel outside of Canada without a PR card. Remember to apply for a travel document from your local embassy when you decide to come back or have your friend send/bring the PR card to you.

not sure!!!you can try calling them...today should be a working day!!!
