Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Thanks for posting this. This is the first time I've seen evidence that this actually happens.

I still can't believe how unbelievably bad ECAS is - no consistency and out of date information. All we want as applicants is to be kept informed and have something we can refer to so we don't have to worry. It's really terrible service from CIC to not be able to provide this on a reliable basis.

On another note, I didn't get anything in my mailbox when I got home tonight, so the waiting game continues.

the same url for PR application. There will be time when there are two applications (two boxes) in the ECAS, once for PR app which is already existing, one for PR card, appear when we log into ECAS. There will also be case in which our PR application is removed and only PR Card application is left alone in ECAS. That is what I was told by my friend (whose application was captured in my previous post).

Sorry I do not get your question, "after March 15th, 2016" ?

Regarding travel documents, yes of course we can use it to go to Canada. But requesting travel documents takes time and money. Another way is to go to US, then drive a car to Canada, this way we can use our CORP for entering.

Im not from a visa exempt country..so I must need travel document.just wondering how long it takes or is it better to wait for pr card...pr card seems to be be late now...

Yeah it is october 17th. With the number of days soaring to 71 looks like we will get new cards in the new year . :-\

Sur Ecas ils ont changer mon adresse et mon nom de famille mais je ne peux pas ouvrir la session avec le CORP

yes i did called and the lady said..i have not passed my processing time limit, didnt even looking into file.

I landed ion sept 30 and expecting PR cards anytime.

I think we are a long way ahead to get our pr cards..Sep 30th people are waiting now..they may receive any time now as per forums comments and november seems a long way and hopefully by Jan end or feb

Well you should call back, because 30th September +71 days = December 10th.

No, no update and I haven't called again yet. I plan to wait until Tuesday next week, or until I hear word that some more people report on here that they have their card.

Dear Quink..
According to my estimate, you will receive card today, reason you both, Takhan nd you, got email from CIC about receipt of your application on December 1, later on Takhan reported that his card was dispatched on Dec 04 and finally it was landed in his mailbox on December 10. So my gut feelings says that the only gap between you and Takhan is due to destination time. CIC sent mail just as a reminder only after starting processing on your file. (i am not certain just my guess work)

Wife Landed Sep 26, called CIC this morning (on behalf of my wife), lady on the other end informed me that it is now a 3 month wait and we should call back after the first week of Jan if we don't receive it.

I mentioned that the processing time keeps moving on their website and she said that yes that will continue moving lol.
