Thats true...may be try later to login to ECAS using copr..as we discussed in this forum..if you are able to login using copr then they might have started to process your card...let us know the status here too..

Yeah but is everyone else able to access the express entry application status ? I am unable to log in to see that too. I am thinking of raising a technical CSE to find out why i am not able to access ecas through my Express entry application number/UCI. according to the help section my application should not be removed until 180 days from landing.

Landed on Oct 29 and i can now access my ecas thru the copr number... but im leaving Canada for 2 months next week and hopefully they dont send me any mail regarding the new photo specs :'( :'(

Landed on oct 01 and still can't access Ecas with Copr #, also uci and application no are not working for ecas now...
called call center lady says she can't comment how long it will take. online wait time is general I will have to wait my application shows in process and no additional docs required to their system..

landed on sept 30. Just called CIC and the lady told me that my PR card will be send out by January 4, 2016. I asked is there anything require from my side or Pic are fine. she said everything is fine. no need to send anything.

What? That's insane. I'm also Sep 30th, and was getting hopeful for this week or next.

Did they actually look up your file number, or did they just ask for your landing date and make an estimate?

Yes. they did asked all info and validated.

No way ! They can tell them will be mailed ! How she can tell when will be send out is is still in process ? If you call again they will probably tell you different story :
Usually when I get lady they just say "nothing" .. The. When I get guy they aske everything , your info bla bla very nice and tell you maximum what they can see .. They can only se if you provide address, your info like email ,phone number.. And they can see if is still waiting to be in process or is in process or its mailed to you that's it ! She probably way lazy and just say generally regarding your landing date when you should recover so you don't call again

Yeah, that's my thought on this too. She told you a crazy late date so you'd get off the call and stop calling back. Something smells fishy with this.

I think thats true, when i called on monday they did say its in process and they sent my file to Print PR card and pics are fine.

I didnt bothered to ask her that i got this reply...guess there in no point telling them...

Hello All,

I landed on 6th July 2015. On 12 th Oct 2015, I have received a letter from CIC to send the photographs again in order to process the PR card as earlier photos were not matching the specification. I sent the photos on 13th Oct 2015 till the date I have nt received PR card.

Please let me know what steps I need to take as their is no concrete answer from CIC call centre.

Please help me out if anyone faced same situation.

I don't think they have chips like credit cards, but should have an RFID copper loop embedded. You can probably see it if you hold it up to a bright light.
