Hi harismatic,

Which airport did you land? For me, I landed Sept 28,2015 and I still not yet received our PR cards. Hope received next week.

Last week first time I called, the agent say our PR cards will send out soon. Second time I called to agent she say she is airing answer from card processing Center and not able to know which day can send out.

Called the call center this morning. Found out that I am within the delay (landed Sep 28) and the agent asked me to call back in case I don't receive the cards by Dec 8.

How come cic agent gave u wrong information?I don't understand it.

He never asked for my UCI/Application number. He just said that there was a delay and based on my landing date (Sep 28, Toronto), asked me to call after Dec 08 in case I don't have them by then. I checked my mailbox and 3 out of 4 were sitting there. My son's PR card wasn't there but I am expecting it sometime within the next week.

Just Landed on Nov 2nd, hopefully will get PR card in the middle of December.

I got immigration under provincial nominee of Manitoba. Now if I change my address from Manitoba to Calgary would it impact my PR card delivery or application?

PR address is not issue, but when you will apply for the citizenship, you must have reasoble proof to show offier that you were used to stay in Manitoba, otherwise no issue

First word, hello everybody from me. I can see a lot of 'familiar' nicks here which is great!

I landed Canada@Vancouver Int. air port on Oct 6th and my ECAS got updated with Completed some weeks ago. I am now back in my country for finalizing all remaining things and will be back next April hopefully.

Back to the main point. I do not see any tracking file to share initial PR card timeline or perhaps I am missing it ? If there is no such file, do you guys think we should create one ? Just like the file that I created for Singapore VO, FSW 2014 ? Let me know what you think!

Landed Sep 17, received PR cards on Nov 20th! The CIC agent did mention that there were some delays in processing.

Hey folks, sorry if this is a stupid question:

When I land with my CoPR and become a permanent resident, will Canada automatically mail my first PR card to my address in ECAS or do I have to physically send in the application package for the PR card that is on the CIC website?

Thanks!

You will automatically get your PR card the address you provided in COPR. you do not have to submit separate application.

Thanks for the info Kinji84. Having waited 18 months for my COPR, I will also endure another 52 days for the PR card to arrive :S
