So basically I logged into Ecas and saw new lines added - which are:

Permanent Resident Card Application Status
In Process

When I click on 'In Process' - it says:

We received your application for a permanent resident card on October 27, 2015.
We started processing your application on November 1, 2015.

Though I landed on 16th September - and they received application on 27th October - that's surprising. Or is this a normal procedure?

LOL - more than a month for them to receive an application? Seriously?

Of course not, it's perfectly legal to enter Canada with COPR as long as you are driving a private vehicle. So, no worries.

You are welcome, I know that it sucks big time not to have any access to your application status, but if they have your correct address on file it's 99% guaranteed that the PRC will pop up in your mailbox.

I called cic again today but same answer we have sent message waiting for reply , I don't know what's wrong where as landed on same date card been mailed out. this is frustrating.

I don't understand etikala.Who sent messages and where?

Hi All, Finally ...we received PR cards for Myself and My family today ... after 148 days wait... , We landed on June 23rd at Pearson Int Airport.
Previously we received new photo request during october and we submitted photos on oct 15th .. so it took almost a month for them to send PR cards after they received new pictures.

Meanwhile, I travelled from US to Canada twice with My COPR and passports in a US rental CAR with a US driving license , Had no issues at the border. I just said i am visiting Canada both times.

kindly check ur box and reconfirm address. If address is correct then u will receive it in 18 days or say within three weeks.

The latter. It's perfectly legitimate for you to tell the BSO that you are waiting for your card, hence, traveling with COPR.
