Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Just to add a data point, I landed June 14th at Rainbow Bridge and my PR file was just sent to production yesterday. No info on why there was a delay. Looks like June files at Rainbow bridge "got lost" till recently as people landed in July there are already getting their cards :

Like I posted before though, people with visa waiver passport should not worry about flying directly to Canada without PR card. I did it twice with no problem and will do more so I don't care how late CIC sends my card!

Yes, and that's the only way to get this info as far as I know.

Hi friend,

Congrats for receiving ur PRC.. I landed in Canada on 12 Aug.. my ECAS last line states that I landed on Toronto airport on 12th Aug and became permanent resident of Canada with Status "complete".
Did u had same changes in ur case? How much time it took after this line in ECAS to receive ur card at mailing address? Does this mean tht CIC opened our file, everything OK n send to printing facility?

Kindy advice please.. I'm sure there r many people awaiting such answer.

Hi bruno,

Congrats!!..And can you explain please where u were able to see the PR Card processing details in E-cas? On logging in we can only see a line called 'Complete' and on clicking it, the final line is like this " You entered Canada through XX on XX and became a PR"...Where will the Card processing details be shown? I think lots of ppl have the same query...And when where u able to start viewing the Card details?? Thanks in advance.

I got a letter (not email) from Toronto CIC office indicating that my photo needs to be resubmitted for PR card. It needs to be submitted in person to the office along with imm5455, COPR and Passport.. In the letter they have given a date to visit the office as well..
Is it a normal request to submit COPR and passport as well?
Anyone experiencing similar situation.?

I got the same letter on Monday and I am out of town. Now I will apply for a travel document to re-enter Canada. The date they gave me is too early so I called the CIC call centre and asked them to request the Toronto office to please reschedule it to January. They said they will send a note to them. Lets see how long that takes. Thanks!

Interestingly eCAS status is still "Decision Made". Is there anything to worry?
