Hi Friends,

Next day mine missing PR card also been received.
I sincerely thank this forum and specially the seniors who had guided with their experiences.
wishing best wishes for other members whose case is still in process.

Thanks,

So how long did it take aproximately?

I Landed on 28th July '15. Any idea when can I expect my PR Card ?

Well you hopefully won't have to wait much longer, Landed on July 25th, card received September 25th. They really processed those much faster in September Oo

Well glad that this whole process is over, good luck to everyone and be patient, it takes time but it still gets us there!

so I finally called CIC using a conference call, they told me they sent me the card on 18th Aug (I landed 16 May and haven't received the PR)... and then they told me since I have not received it till now, they asked me to declare it as "never received" using a specific form, the agent said she will send me an email... anyone faced this issue?

Received my PR card on Friday after landing on July 28, 2015.

Wow, Actually took 6 - 8 weeks!

Good luck everyone!

Hi,

Landed on June 14th at the Rainbow Bridge. I called CIC just now and they told me something is wrong with my pictures and that Toronto office will be mailing me a letter regarding that. The problem is I am out of town for a few months (reached 2 days ago). They told me I will have to go in person to the Toronto office to figure it out.

Did anyone else receive this letter from CIC? If yes, may I please know what it says and how long do they give you to come in person? Is there any way this can be done without going in person?

Please please help me out. Thanks!

Landed June 15, still no card. Called CIC and they said there's no information on printing etc (he said there appears to be no reason for delay, maybe just huge backlog, and that "no news is good news", meaning looks like no photo retaking needed or anything like that). Very frustrating...I'm guessing only 2-3 people are in the same boat as me now, as almost everyone who landed in July (!!) have received their cards.

fukc card manufacturing facility, so inefficient, like 18th century.

Congrats brunofuster, where did you do your landing?

here is my timeline.
Landed on 16th July 2015 at Vancouver airport.
Received our PR cards(family of 3)on 28th Sept. 2015, Delta BC.

Good luck everyone.

Landed June 14 at Rainbow Bridge. Still no card.

By the way, I took two trips from Asia-Canada direct flight without PR card. I'm from visa exempt country. No trouble both at check in at airport and at YYZ with only COPR. Just don't show COPR at airport check in so that airline agents assume you're visitor to Canada.
