I landed Rainbow Bridge Niagara on 14 June, but didn't got my PR card yet.. Call center agent saying to wait until 2nd Oct.
Anyone got PR card who landed on or after 14-June at Rainbow Bridge Niagara??

I landed on the same day (june 14th) at Rainbow Bridge. After calling CIC 4 times, they finally opened my file today to see whats going on with my card. The agent was like your card is still under processing and that I should wait for another 4-8 weeks. I have no idea whats taking so long.

Landed on 27th May, Me, Wife and 2 kids, Got PR Card for me & kids last week, but wife's card not yet come,... pls advice

I was able to get SIN number within 4 hours of landing. Service Canada did tell me i would have to wait for 2 days, however, since there was noone infront of me in queue- they entertained me. It really depends on people at service Canada.

I called CIC yesterday and they said my card was mailed out on June 29th. I landed on April 11th.

I have Canada Post mail forwarding as I just moved house and apparently on the envelope the card is in, it does says "DO NOT FORWARD." I called Canada Post as well, and they said if they receive an envelope saying that, they will just send it back to CIC. I now have to wait about a week and a half hoping that the card gets sent back to CIC and then gets sent back out to me. So crazy. I can't believe it. I paid for mail forwarding and it won't even get forwarded! :(

Good luck to all of you still waiting and congratulations to all that have the card safely :)

I have similar situation. I landed on Sept 4, and gave my friends address. Apparently they communicated to me that they would be moving out by Oct 19. I had to come back to US to complete my present work. Would it be possible to change the PR mailing address this stage by calling CIC ?

Thanks
Nara

First let them update on ecas the addresss you initially gave. Then it will show a tab to change the address.

And some members have quoted that it would take 70 days for the changes to show. My ECAS still shows 'Decision Made' and office will contact you soon...status...

Wont take 70 days. Couple of weeks after landing ecas will show completed, instead of decison made. Address change tab will appear after that.

it is not valid for me. Ecas shows my home country address. I provided a temporary address during my landing. Then I rented an apartment one week later and changed my address online. It was still showing turkish address. Then I ve waited 5 business days, then called Cic, they confirmed they had my new address on their system and informed me that paused addresses on our ecas screen is a common problem..

It still shows my turkish address. My advise is to change your address online and get confirmation after waiting some days.

Which province you are living in? How much is the rent? Did you have to make 1 year lease agreement?

I'm curious how to update your address in ECAS? For me, when I log into ECAS I see:

To change this mailing address, contact us.

I see it linking to this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/index.asp

What do I select? One option is to select Self-serve options -> Change or notify us of a change of address which is at the bottom. Is this where I need to do it?

Thank you in advance,
