Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Dear All,

I have just talked to CIC helpline to know status of PR cards for me n my family. We landed on May 26. Yesterday night I dialed number 6139444000 from MagicJack but she didn't open my file n said it will come in 80 + 10 business days. Call after August 28.

But today I called 8882422100 from MagicJack, luckily my call got connected (Few days back the tape answered dis number is for only inland calls call 6139444000). I asked same question like yesterday. The voice appeared to be exactly same as of last nyt but this tym she asked UCI n asked security questions and den put on hold to check my file.

after hold, she said everything seems to be going on normal in your file. They are about to produce your cards and you may get them tentatively within 4-8 weeks.

Seniors, please advise how much tym it myt take from this step onwards now till I receive cards (Approximately) ????

i know it is mentioned on the cic website but there are conflicting information on how to apply for new pr card.
I am a pnp applicant and became a new pr. In land applicant and did my landing at Niagara. My cdn mailing address shows up on the ECAS.

So was I supposed to apply separately for card or it is sent automatically after landing?
Should I expect any updates on ECAS? right now it is on 5th line stating that I became PR on 19th june.

Nothing yet. Said to wait until Aug 31st and said me to give a cal back if i don't receive by this data. Didn't even said went to production,emailed etc..

Please let me know if you receive any kind of information

Hi Ganapathi, I have called cic yesterday after seeing the new 80 days time line and they told me that my card should arrive by next Wednesday as per the new timelines. I also called them day before yesterday and they told me to wait till Sept 15 as per 90 days timeline. Call them again and ask for the card you are on 97th day they should tell you the status.

Guys so I just had called CIC and had a horrible conversation with one of the French call centre agent. When I told her I am a new immigrant and my processing time on the website has passed. Could you tell me about the update on my file? She replied, add 14 more days to the processing and call back.

I said can you give me reference to the 14 days or some of your colleauge say 10 days? She said No I am telling you add 14 days and call back after August 27.

"Is there anything else you would want me to help with". I said YES. You didn't help me with what i have called for.

"I want you to see my GCMS notes and give me updates on my FILE". I don't want general information without reference. That's when her voice got violent. Repeated the same thing again.

"I still would want you to see my file please".

"Yes sir" confrimed the details.

After like 10 seconds, she repaets again the 27 August thing. I asked can you check at what stage my PRC is? She said it's in processing.

I asked is it in production. She said not yet.

I said so you told add 14 days for shipping. but my PRC is still not in production so that means I am not going to receive by August 27. Is that right? haha

She replied well you may receive it. I said the information you gave me wasn't right? and then when she got real softtttt. No Sir blah blah.

and then we said good byes.

What an arrogant women she was. But she couldn't deny me my right to my information.

Awesome. I also landed on same day. Hope i will get it by monday.

Hurrah ;D . I just received my pr card. But my wife didn't get her card. Even though we both landed on same day she didn't get with me. I hope she will get her card by the end of next week.

Is it normal or else do i need to inform cic that my wife didn't get her card

Received card August 21st

Apparently it has been printed on August 18th

Waiting for more feedbacks who are receiving their cards so that we can make a guess when we might get our cards.

I landed on May 26, still no clear picture as CIC helpline said it might take more 4-8 weeks which seems a general answer...
