Hello All,
I have landed on July 9, 2015 at Rainbow bridge and waiting for PR card. I have to travel to the US this week. Can I cross the Rainbow bridge by walk and take a bus to New York city. Please advice.. Thank you.

Yes you an do that but you have to com back the same way-on foot or personal vehicle

We landed on the same date May 17th in Montreal. Still waiting for the card. We called last week they said under production.
If optimistic, this week we should receive.

Landed on July 1. Still waiting for PR card. Any guess, how long it can take. Web page says on an avg. 90 days? but what could be worst case scenario or optimistic scneario.

Hi, did you get the dispatch information from CIC call centre? I landed on May 8th, but they said my card was sent to production on July 31st...but no information about dispatch....

Hey all,

I am happy to inform that i finally got my PR card on 17-Aug. I landed in Toronto on May 1st. Though it was a bit late for me compared to others who got well before me.

Please tell me whether you are in canada right now?

On which number you are calling to get the info and what option numbers you are then following to get to the call centre agent? and preferred time to call to get the info, or what time of day you called them?

When you get connected to the agent, what we have to say to them to reveal us this information as most of the times i have read here that they don't even bother to open the file if the minimum processing time has not gone passed, how did you manage this things, please share what to say the agent?

I landed on May 26 and currently i am outside canada.

Thanks. When did you apply for your US visa? Also, which consulate you had your interview at? Did they ask you anything about your PR card?

I applied this year in July. The appointment was in the US consulate in Calgary. They just asked me for my status in Canada and I showed my COPR, which was good enough for them.
