Hi Mastfadi,
I have already changed my address in ECAS. Then again do I need to call them?
Yes they might be having some problem on issuing PR cards.
Ok I will call them then. Can you please give me the phone number of CIC . Do they have an extension? If then can you please give me that as well. Thank you very much.
Have a good evening. Cheers

Pradhan,

The way it has worked out so far, I think I will be calling them every week now just to make sure I get my PR card and not another system glitch affects my process, but its upto you if you have that patience which I lack now. Anyways since I am out of Canada at the moment so I count not call the toll free 888 number, I called this number instead 1 613 944 4000, I dont remember the extension but they are pretty straight forward, just keep selecting the one which points you to immigration queries and you should be able to talk to the CIC.

Good luck

Thanks for the number. I will try to call them next week then.
Anyway where are you now? If you don't have your PR card then how will you enter in Canada?
Ok buddy have a good time.
Cheers

Hi

I landed on May 1st at Toronto. I checked with call centre on my card. It has shipped on August 06.

FYI- my Ecas still shows my India address.

Thanks

Landed on June 1st. Patiently waiting for my PR card. Looks like the entire visa process was faster than this .

I just read ramcanada's message and realized that I'm not the only person left in the boat. I landed on May 1st as well in Toronto and still haven't heard about the card yet. I checked my Toronto address and mailing address in eCAS and all are perfectly fine.

I am going to call the helpline and find out what my situation is. I am just hopeful that my card has been shipped by last week/now just like ramcanada's.

Hi RAM

Did you get your card?

Pnp - ainp
Landed on 19 june 2015
Border - coutts

Any idea when will i get my card ?

Just for update ,May be this will help some member to calculate timing for Card dispatch

Called CIC Agent just now
So As per him card gone for printing on 27th July and on 6th August it dispatched.

PS: I landed on 2nd May

Here is some information on the PR card.
I landed on May 6th and last week Monday I called the CIC Call agent, and he checked my application status and he said the status is 'Pending Image' . Asked him what is that. He scared me saying that your PR card application is being reviewed and is not approved and there is going to be a delay of 30 days more. I said him that I need to travel to my home country for a personal reason and have booked all my itinerary. He asked me to apply for travel document in my home country which is going to take 1 month. But my vacation is for only 10 days. I have US Visitor Visa and asked weather I can enter through US by walk with my COPR. He said YES. So I am little convinced as I can just rebook my return through US and come though Buffalo rainbow bridge.

Again I called on last Friday to see if there is any progress. But this time the agent not even ready to get my Client ID and check the status. He just asked when I landed and did I give the Canada address during the landing. I said Yes. He then just replied all May first week landed immigrants who provided their address will get their card before Aug 14.

Again I called today after noon. The agent got the client id number and checked and said my card has been dispatched last Thursday which is Aug 6th. Little relieved now but still have some strange fear on Canada Post !!!
So whoever landed on May 1st week and provided the canada address will receive their card in the coming days.

Hi all,
I've completed my Landing formalities on June 29th and ECAS shows the same lines

You entered Canada at the Edmonton International Airport office on June 29, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident.

from then I'm in queue. processing times are 87 days...

Good News :)..The processing time for new PR card applicants have comedown to 84 days from 87 days as per 7 august update

When and where did you check? I just checked on the website, last update is till 7th August, 2015.

Today I got my PR card finally. I landed on May 2.

Hey Guys,

I just checked with the CIC again, they said that my address got confirmed only when I called them last week and now I should be expectingmy PR cards by or before 22nd of September. Just giving you the update for my weird case, which for some reason I find myself to be the only victim of.

Good luck
