Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Today I observed in eCAS Only Mailing address is displaying .
till yesterday there was 2 address mentioned mailing and home.

PS: Before march 2015 in ecas only mailing address was displaying after that 2 address again and form today only mailing address.

Anyone else also faced this situation
I am confused ??? ???

Today, I got my Address updated on eCAS.... and it's changed to one address now. (before, there were TWO addresses)

I've also noticed a small change where you put your date of birth. Before, it use to be YYYY-MM-DD ..... now it's DD-MM-YYYY

I've also received a call today from VICTOR, who was pretending to be an officer from CIC. I asked him for his name and position
Victor (SENIOR COUNCILLOR)

He already knew my name, and then he started saying that a legal notice or complaint have been filed against my immigration file. I asked where was it filed? He said, Canadian Embassy.... I said which canadian embassy, he said canadian embassy, I said there are more than 150 embassies, so which one is my Home Country embassy? He said, Canadian Embassy India.

And so... I said, WRONG YOU SCAMMER! This is not my home country, try coming up with a better storyline next time ... and he said "You FAQAR" .. and I hung up.



On CIC's website, they have stated that CIC will never call you regarding your immigration status or asking you to pay anything over phone.

For me, it is only the home address displaying in ecas now

Yep, it's the same for me. I only have 1 address showing... "Your current home address"... but it's FINALLY been updated to my show my new address, which I changed on June 28th.

Landed May 30 and finally today my ecas show "complete" - it as "decision made" before, and I am finally seeing the Canadian address. Finally Ecas has been updated...

Yep, it's the same for me. I only have 1 address showing... "Your current home address"... but it's FINALLY been updated to my show my new address, which I changed on June 28th.

Hi I noticed the same in ecas system. Earlier it was showing home address and mailing address. The Home address was Canada address and mailing address was my home country address. Now it is showing only mailing address which is my home country address.

Anyone have similar change. Please advice.

P.S. I did not request any address change request.

Today, i have noticed a change in my ECAS and my canadian address has started to appear which i have given during landing process on May 26.

Since 16 July, i didn't check my ECAS, this change has occured in between time.

In my case, Canadian address is NOT SHOWING which i have given during landing process. It is showing my home country address as mailing address. Please suggest if any actions to be taken from my end.

I didn't do anything, this address appeared in my ECAS itself.

So, just wait.

Perhaps, they do not have your Canadian address on file? I'd call CIC

So I landed on 24 May 2015. Just logged in today and found that my Canadian Address has started to show on file. Thanks to rizwan150 because he pointed it out and my date is close to his.

The question now being what does this signify? Have they started processing my application and it will not take them 87 Days?

I landed on May-01st. It was showing both my Canadian address and Home country address. Recently it is showing only Home country address.

Dear tknova, please be in touch with me and keep me informed about your card delivery date whenever u receive as we both have close landing dates, mine is 26 May

I have a question guys. I landed on May 8 and now I'm waiting for PR card. Ecas shows my canadian address as both mailing address and home address and this is the address I gave to the officer during the landing. But I have representative on file and all the correspondence from CIC through the whole process arrived to the representative address (including COPR). I'm wondering if PR card will be arrived to the representative as well. This might be a problem as my representative changed his address recently and I'm not sure if Canada Post will forward PR card to his new address.
