You probably reached Tiffany. Call again to get another agent. They should log into your account to give you an update regardless coz that's THEIR JOB.

Hi guys,

I called CIC today , they said that my card is in production. Can anyone tell me that how many days more required to deliver cards ?

Hello Everyone, seeing your timeline for PR i am very much worried. I thought it was in one month time ppl are getting PR card. Now i can see the real picture.

Can you guys please inform me at the time of your landing ,what the immigration officer told you about how many days you have to spend in Canada before you apply for Citizenship? And do the immigration officer asked you about the amount of funds?

Look around and see the timelines for yourself.

Hi guys,

I received an email from CIC regarding my querry for some *other* stuff.

They made it pretty clear that all these delays in CIC processings (I will assume PR processing, PR card etc. as well) is due to shortage of employees. See the below quote from that email:

"The summer period makes it difficult for us to process all requests on time but we are making every efforts to have all late requests close as soon as possible."

So take it easy and relax, things will fall in place in due time with some delays.

If I move after landing, may I change the mailing address to receive PR card within Canada?

Your questions have nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Why are you back to USA? Aren't you gonna live in Canada? Woudnt that leave a negative impact on your PR status. I am asking because i also have the plan to leave Canada after getting PR card.
