Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hello Friends,

I landed at Toronto Pearson Airport on 25th April and still waiting for me PR Card. As per the estimate, I think it would still take another 1 month to get the PR Card.

I have two questions:

(a) On 26th June, i changed my canada address and home address to my new canadian address using address notification tool. However, new address is still not reflected in my ECAS. I really hope the timeline of 85 calendar days starts after landing date and not the the day you change the new address?

(b) My employer wants me to visit US on business visa. Can i go to US and book a return flight till buffalo. And then cross the rainbow Niagra bridge by a private vehicle? As per the blog, i think we just need COPR and passport to cross rainbow bridge and not the PR Card?

e-CAS should display the correct address. It can take up to three weeks, but you still have ample time before your PR card application reaches the desk of a CIC agent

Landed Apr-16 with my spouse. My spouse received the PR card but not me. Called CIC and the agent said that my card was mailed out Jul-13 so I should receive it soon.

I've called CIC and the agent assured me that the address on file is my new address and to ignore ECAS. We'll see! You should call CIC to verify too.

Good idea but a bit too late at this point since GCMS notes takes 1 month to be delivered.

CIC agent told me they can't change ECAS... Then again, these agents can be quite clueless so who knows!

Seems like they started with week 3 of April apps. I'll have 85 days tomorrow, so call centre agents might finally agree to look up the detailsof my file lol

Landed on Apr 21st. Called CIC today and the agent advised that my card will arrive at the end of next week. She refused to log into my account to check if the card was already issued.
