ECAS doesn't show the PR card status sometimes. Actually, 80% of the cases aren't reported in ECAS.

Yeah I agree, confirmed with three other friends their Pr card processing didn't show on ecas.

Guys PR card processing time increased to 64 calendar days
what the hell is going on >:( >:( >:( >:(

last week waiting time was 57 days . this week 64 days So mathematics says not a single card issued in 1 week .

So frustrated

Wow. I'm shocked. Every time I'm right there, they change the date LOL. Now, I have 63 days, so I can't call tomorrow and ask because they will say that I haven't reached 64.

Hello Guys,
Where exactly do we see this "processing time" or "Waiting time" ?
is it somewhere from this form or somewhere on CIC website ??

"Complete" since I landed.

Yes it is the same for me 'Complete' status. I have travel plans in a month's time, now getting worried.

April 3 landing here at Rainbow Bridge - still waiting for PR cards... :-\ This is frustrating. We want to go on trips!!

Was not allowed either to get OHIP card renewal on presenting a border copy of COPR; they wanted to see PR cards. :'(

We eagerly anticipate receiving some happy inbound mail from CIC soonest.
The process continues... 8) Good luck all!

They renewed mine based on COPR. Visit different location and they will renew it for you.

For PR card: Did you call CIC? if Yes, what did they tell you ?

Landed Apr 17, guess I'll need to wait even longer. I want to go on trips too, this is super frustrating!

BTW, you can get OHIP renewal based on your COPR. I got mine renewed with just that. You probably got an agent who didn't know the rules.

From the mentioned date of CIC shipping out cards, does it usually take 6 weeks (for Canada post) to deliver the cards??

No, if it's within Canada, it should take at most 4 business days according to Canada Post timelines.

Hi Guys,

I too am waiting for the PR Cards for me and family. In the meantime my son's passport is going to expire so I need to go for re-issue. Can i proceed to do that? or shud i wait for the PR cards to arrive.

There shudnt be any issues right?

Cheers

Why on earth would CIC require 64 days to print a bloody card... Shouldn't these processes be automated by this point?! Or at least have their many Service Canada branches be in-charged of this process so folks who want their PR cards just need to visit their nearest Service Canada branch; instead of overloading the entire Canada's PR card processing batch to one department. I mean Canada is a first-world country, this extremely long delay is unacceptable especially since we all require a PR card to TRAVEL OUT OF THE COUNTRY. Thank goodness I don't need to travel for work, but what about those who do? It's going to affect their employment.

what is OHIP? I'm going to Philippines this coming Thursday and no PR card yet..landed April 16. The processing time of travel docs is 7-15 days. I emailed CEM they'd said still up to the officer if they can shorten it or longer it depends on your papers if its complete I guess i t won't be long just like my friend it only took her 3 days.
