Guys I have a question. My husband already landed a few weeks back but I will be landing when I return from my vacation. There is a mistake on my copr. The original date of entry in Canada is printed wrong on the copr. What should I do? I've heard that I will have to land at the airport but then how will the mistake get corrected?

Hi,
you don't need to do anything. It's a common mistake. You can land without any problem. Many applicants have the incorrect original date of entry on their CoPR. The CIC have your correct dates in their database anyway. If you choose to land in a CIC office this mistake can be corrected there though.

Hi all,
I am not in Canada at the moment and still my relative did not receive my PR card (it is around 3 months after my first landing). i want to ask my relative to call CIC. May I know what questions are being asked for security reasons so I can pass it to my relative so he can call CIC.
Will it be any problem if my relative call instead of me as I am outside?
Thanks

From outside call CIC at 613.944.4000 For outside canada.

Landing queries

Hello Everyone,

Am planning to land in Canada in June from India and my wife will be coming for landing in July directly from Qatar, Doha. Regarding this I have below doubts:

1. I want to undergo Lasik eye surgery to get rid of my specs. Will it in any way hamper my visa status or create trouble on landing ?

2. Can my wife come to Canada directly from Doha, instead from India to Canada. We applied from India.

Hi,
you can do your surgery without any problem regarding your status.
It doesn't really matter where your wife arrive to Canada from.
