Hi,
did you call CIC from outside North America (canada and USA)?? I am calling from USA to get status on PR cards and I am getting message: Plz check the number you have dialed.. Is there another number to call from USA?

I called from Toronto, Canada. I am not aware if there is a number to call from USA.

I landed at CIC office in Toronto. I think you should call and enquire about the status.

Thanks, dude. You are already inside Canada and landed at local CIC office. It might be different for people landing at airport and by road at POE.
Congrats on PR.

I received mine yesterday too. I landed on March 24, so it took 27 days for me.
Congrats. Thanks for letting us know. I landed on March 21. My card was mailed on April 24, 2015. I am located in Edmonton.. Hopefully i will get it soon.

May I ask what's your location?

Hi,
Did you land by air or land? I landed by road on March 6th and haven't received PR card yet. I am kind of worried now.

As far as I've noticed, the method of landing (air, land, office) doesn't affect the processing of PR cards, nor the type of immigration process you went through (family class, skilled worker etc). They all going the same pile.

Also, when I was expecting my PR card, some people that landed a couple of weeks after me got their 7-10 days before me. There is no rule, and it's not always that cards are processed in an order. As you can see from people that said they got their cards yesterday, one was processed 27 days, the other 44. No rules!

I would advise you to call CIC (again if you already did), because some people's pictures don't get accepted and they are slow in letting you know. At least they can reassure you and let you know where in the process your card is. Beware that the processing time the CIC website increased rapidly, almost doubled, so the wait you are experiencing is normal, sorry :(

If you're outside Canada, dial 1-613-944-4000 and follow the instructions to hopefully get to someone live.

I think I deserve a"+1" for this one, I found the number deeply buried in the Ottawa thread :D :P

Yes, it worked. Finally, I talked to a customer service representative. It is weird, they said, they don't have my canada address in their system. Which I have provided at landing to the CBSP. I have to update my address again online and also call them again.
thanks for your help.

I've seen a couple more posts saying the same :o that is so bad, good that you called.

That's the reason I advise everyone to call CIC at least once to confirm which address they have in the system, maybe even 2-3 times, because to some people it happened that CIC had the address, then it "disappeared", LOL

And it is so weird and annoying that ecas doesn't reflect what CIC has in their system.

Yes, it is weird. ECAS shows my mailing and home address, but CIC cannot see in their system. I guess CIC system and ECAS are not connected!!!
