Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi Toronto2013,
Did you get PR card in the mail? My cars was also mailed on Friday April 24 at 1:45 pm still waiting for it in the mail
Guys any idea how long it takes to get mail from Sydney to Edmonton.

I was told from agent that card was mailed on Friday 1:45 pm..

Is there any way to check status of PR Card application? My eCAS shows "Complete" and AFAIK this is the final status. How do I know if the card has been sent?

For some applicants a new section for PR card appears in ecas, but only for a small percentage. Most of us wait 30-40 days after landing, then call CIC to ask what stage is the PR card at and to confirm which address they have in the system.

You can get/apply for some other documents while you wait for your PR card.

I called them last week. It was working.

I received my PR card yesterday. Date of landing: 18Mar. So it took 44 days for the PR card.

I landed at CIC office in Toronto. I think you should call and enquire about the status.

did you call CIC from outside North America (canada and USA)?? I am calling from USA to get status on PR cards and I am getting message: Plz check the number you have dialed.. Is there another number to call from USA?
