did u ask CIC Call center to open a case with PR CPC Sydney to find out about the card?

Hi,

No, I did not request the CIC to open a case. However, I did call them twice to request an update. I am pretty sure calling them twice did not make a difference but wanted to let you know.

Hi All,

An update from my end. My PR Card came with a mistake! The CIC has my nationality wrong on the card. My wife's card is alright.

I used the PR Card Re-Issue instructions on the CIC website and sent the card back today. They do mention that a re-issue is given priority and a new card is issued within 15 days. Fingers crossed.. again!!

How ironic. I've changed my mailing address on ECAS, of which I had confirmed with them verbally on the phone when I called a week (or two) ago to check on the status.

And I found out today that they'd mailed the card to my old address anyway. Haven't seen it with my own eyes but I did receive a letter from CIC and it has something "hard" inside Can't be anything else so I'll find out for sure when I go pick it up this weekend!

No PR Card in Mail as of today, so I called CIC today afternoon seeing my home address updated to the right one but mailing one still shows my Lawyer's address. The agent checked n said she doesn't see my lawyer's address.As per the agent, pr card is still in production as per her and she was a bit annoyed stating she can see I called last week as well and no point in calling every week & wait 20 mins to talk to them. She told me to call after March 21st...Will it be a good idea to check through the local MP to see whats going on?

I updated my landing status on January 25 2015. I called yesterday to the call center and they told me to wait till April 14. Waiting Waiting Waiting.......

Received my PR Card yesterday. Landed on Jan 11th, PR Card approved on Feb 5th.

I wish everyone waiting for PR Card to receive it soon. Now my BC Services card wait starts

I landed on Feb 14th and I provided my appropriate canadian address. I also checked eCAS status couple of days back and both my address (home and mailing address) were correct. But some how today when I am checking my eCAS status, to my horror , my mailing address is changed to some weird address. This is the address I see there now.

I have no clue how did it happen and can anybody suggest if anybody has faced this before and can advice me what should I do next now ?

Recieved my card on 28 feb. Now at service canada they said my status is not updated yet online. So I'll receive my SIN no. in mail in 4 weeks. Everyone else got it right away.

Did you use a representative (e.g. lawyer)? That would possibly be the address that all correspondences for your case would go to.

If not, I'd highly recommend calling CIC and alert them about it.

That's normal , many families have reported receiving their PRcards at different dates .

Got an update guys , I called CIC today and the agent told me that my card was mailed out yesterday March 3rd , I landed on Jan 23rd , 2015.

I received my PR card on March 4. Long wait over finally !!It was mailed on Jan 26. Might be, it went into their slow printing process..

Anyways...Finally things worked out.
