Congrats. +1

Thought I should share my timeline for some reference.

Landed Vancouver 1/9/2015
Ecas showed up status on 2/4 in progress and approved the same day. The home address showed the correct Canadian address but mailing showed abroad address. Did online address change same day.
Called immigration on 2/20 and they stated it is in production and should have been mailed. She did confirm that the address in system accepted the change and showing the correct Canadian address for mailing. She left a note to Ottawa according to her.

2/27/2015 Card received. It does seem that they are mass producing a bunch and today is the day for many to receive the card with various landing time. Online status still showing in progress. The mailing address never changed on Ecas.

Good luck to those stilling waiting. I know it's esp. frustrating if you have travel plans.

Yup, Received my Card today (Feb/27) :D ;)

Got my card in mail today. Landed on dec 25th 2014, at rainbow bridge. Hope everybody here will get their card really soon. Good luck!

Hi everyone!
I've finally received my PR card in the mail :)
Here's the full sequence of events, just in case:

Dec 20 - Landed
Feb 17 - Called CIC and found out they don't know my new address, even though the Home Address in ECAS was correct. Told CIC my new address by phone and sent an online change request additionally, just in case, because I thought it was supposed to update in ECAS after a call.
Feb 22 - I guess this is the date the card was printed, because the expiry date is Feb 22, 2020.
Feb 24 - The date on the mail stamp.
Feb 27 - Received.

ECAS still shows nothing about the card, even the mailing address is still old.

Good luck to you and I wish you all receive your card soon!

Finally! I'm glad you've got it now, so you can carry on with life. So... this immigration process is now complete for you, at least until time for citizenship rolls around, hehe.

Meanwhile, I'm here still waiting....

Good stuff. +1 to you all.

Seems there was indeed a major batch released recently. Need to get the CMB checked to see if mine arrived too.

*fingers crossed*

Well, there's still the BC Services Card (provincial ID), which can't be obtained without the PR card and it takes up to another 30 days :D
In different provinces the rules are different, but apparently with these rules and processing times BC does everything to ensure new immigrants have more goals to achieve for the first few months :D

Haha I see. Well, guess you're joining me for some more waiting then :).

We finally received our pr cards. Our journey is finally over. All the ups and downs, and a ruined relationship within the family. I hope everything will be ok from now on. I wish everyone the best of luck, and thank you for everything

Despite suffering a serious case of envy and frustration, I must say congrats to everyone who've finally received their PR!

Congratulations !!!! Thanks for sharing the good news , I have a question thou ,
When you call CC last week , did they tell you that your card was mailed out on the 17th ? Or they just told you that your was approved and sent for printing on the 17th of February ?
It just seems pretty fast the printing and mailing process in less then 10 days ,unless you live very close to the printing facility .

Congratulations again ! :)

Hi,

When I called the CIC, they did not quote a mail out date. They just mentioned that the card was approved on 17th Feb and has been sent for printing. It does look like quick turnaround i.e. 10 days from approval to receipt.

Wishing everyone the best of luck. I will hang around the forums to answers any questions. Gone through a lot of ups and downs
