Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Ok, these different stories from y'all about responses from CIC not exactly inspiring confidence in me. They also told me on Monday that mine was "processing" and should be sent out within the next 2 weeks. But, nothing showing up on ECAS yet. At least if something came up there, I'd feel a bit better. Crossing my fingers (and toes lol) that I get it by the end of next week.

Hello Folks.. Landed here on 28 Dec 14 and no news about my PR card as yet. I called the CIC centre this week and the agent was also puzzled as to why card had not been processed.. There were no comments or notes added in the system that is causing the delay.. It's well past the processing timelines. She did send an inquiry to the processing centre... At this point, I don't know when I am going to get the card.. Wtf! So annoyed! ... I guess the waiting game continues..

CIC also told me to check back on March 9.

Thats odd !!

Just spoke to CIC on my card status and got to know they have mailed it on 26th to my home address which is different than my mailing address (where i received all my communications including COPR, PP).

I did check with my old address as well and got to know no mailers received in my name or family name :-X. CIC is quite crazy in some areas ???!! till date i had no issues at all and now they screewed up my PR card delivery. ???

CIC asked me to call back after March 09th and see what they can do :-\

PR card status "in process" as of Feb 12th.

I haven't received it in the mail yet. I landed on Jan 25th.

I landed on Dec 12 at YYZ. I think Canada post lost my card. It was approved on Jan 26. I think only option is to wait till March 9.

If anybody else has any suggestions, please let me know.

I think it is the same website you provided earlier. There is only one website that lets you check. I dont see anything either. The application status just got changed to complete... Nothing about the pr card..

Nope :-[.

I still can't believe it takes up to a month for a PR card to be PRINTED. That's according to a CIC call centre agent when I called again today (that it finished processing and was sent to production). That's even more than the processing time noted on the website !

But how come this agent didn't offer you to send an enquiry to prcpc Sidney about your case ? You should call again tomorrow and asked them to send a note to Sidney , because your case is way passed the processing time . They did with mine today or that's what she said she did .

The agent I spoke with last week did that and the one today mentioned that they are seeing where a note was actually sent from last week. I'm just hoping what the first one said is true and I'll get it by next week. Can't take yet another wait...ugh.
