Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Called CIC this morning ang was told that it was already approved and was already sent for printing.It's just that they are not aware how many days will it take to be printed out and sent.We are moving to a different city in 10 days so he just gave me a link where to update my address.Guess no choice but to wait..... Again.

2. If anybody from Victoria, can i do my landing at port angeles port of entry?
3. what documents would be required other than passport and copr?
4. Can i do landing on weekends?

I called the CIC call centre today and asked about the status of my PR card. The agent I spoke with told me it's currently being processed and should complete processing today and get to my address in Canada within the next week or so. Hopefully there's no problem and that timeline is correct.

Nothing is showing up on eCAS for me for the card. Will probably check again tomorrow.

1. No you do not need to make an appointment.
2. We are also in Victoria and we did our landing at Point Roberts (Tsawassen) but friends did it last year after a trip to Port Angeles.
3. We just had our passport and COPR
4. Yes, any time

Are people still getting calls by CIC to do in land landing at their office? Or is everyone just going to the border?

Also my previous SIN card is expired so should I get it renewed before I land or it's fine?

@ gopr didn't they lie to you when you called the first two times? They said it was in production and now they have nothing?

Why cant they care about what they do, they are messing up stuff for the people who need to get that card. I am already planning my wedding... But I need that card.

@jaspermorraine - I know this is crazy. The agent I spoke to didnt even mention that its in production.He just said that 26 calendar days is only for 80% applications, so he said u r in that 20%.....They asked me to apply travel doc if i want to travel.

If by march mid I dont get it, I need to call them again and they will arrange for me to go to CIC office n get the card, not sure hw long that will take....
I dont hv any id except passport since i dont drive n qc took my health care card wen i left the province...its ridiculous but i hv no option

I don't know who to believe. I was told it is still and process and they will send an inquiry... ecas never updated for me... I hope they won't punish me for calling and asking... the government scares me sometimes...

Can anybody please let me know where do I check status of my PR cards. I landed on 14th Feb and my ECAS status changed from "decision made" to "Complete". But there is no information about my PR cards, it just say that I have landed on 14th Feb and became permanent resident.

it usually takes a while before you can see the pr card status. some of us don't see anything and we landed back in December. So I would wait a while and once it crosses the deadline of 26 days give CIC a call. They will send an inquiry to the processing centre.
