Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi

I landed at Vancouver intl airport on 8th Jan and I am seeing an update in ECAS as below. A new section for 'Permanent Resident Card Application' appears with status as 'In Process'.

And inside, I have the following 3 lines.

1.We received your application for a permanent resident card on January 10, 2015.
2.We started processing your application on February 5, 2015.
3.Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on February 4, 2015. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.


Can anyone please let me know when I the PR cards are expected at my mailbox.

Has anybody landed at Person after Jan 4th received any updates on their PR card application?

I have not seen any updates on ECAS since the day I landed. The current processing time seems to be 39 days.

Still nothing yet. Patiently waiting.

Got my card today, it was mailed on Feb 2nd. ECAS status still shows nothing about PR Card tho.

It's finally over, It took from April 1st to now so about 10 months. Good luck everyone! :-*

Hi,

Can someone update the list.

I landed on Feb 07th... my latest eCas staus is..

"You entered Canada at the Lester B Pearson International Airport, Terminal No. 1 office on February 7, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident."

Is there a way I can track the status of my PR card ?

Thanks tortau Any updates regarding ur card?

I called up CIC again today and they hv no idea when the pr card will arrive as it is still in production. Regarding ECAS they told me to raise an issue with technical team and the agent emailed me the details.

Sadly no BC MSP card or BC Services Card for me till I get the PR card and I got to move end of this month.

Sadly, no. I'm not exactly in a hurry for it but my new job requires me to travel to their HQ in US so I'd like it soon before they start to think I'm doing something illegal or something. This whole "can't leave the country" is an unusual circumstance. They've been understanding about the situation but the question, "you sure you have PR?" does pop up a lot.

Anyway, you should be able to obtain your provincial cards using the stamped CoPR. I know I had no problems renewing my Ontario health card and drivers license with the landed papers.

I have a question - Is it okay if i leave country after landing and Once PR Card received at my address in Canada, one of my friends send the PR Card to me out side canada. ??

It is okay but use reputable courier such as UPS, DHL or FEDEX for the safe delivery of your PR card outside Canada.

call CIC immediately! it should not be decision made, it should be 'completed' after you land. It could be that the officer missed out on entering information. and CIC won't go back to the officer and check until you remind them. if there is any problems with the landing information they just put it aside and don't bother investigating...

Same here I landed on December 24, 2014 and no updates in ECAS about PR Card.
