Hey guys so i landed August 9th in Aldergrove. Called the CIC call centre today for the second time woman was lovely she told me they sent my PR card for further verification on September 19th and they are currently working on cases received May 20th. She told me to not expect anything for another 2/3 months and to not worry as they rarely contact in these situations. So im going to stop checking and worry about it at a later date.

I spoke to CIC call centre.. They told they have mailed my PR card today.. I live in Mississauga. Can anyone tell me how sooner do you think I can receive them.. Hoping to receive it soon as I am travelling out of country tomorrow night

Anyone know how long it usually takes from being 'in process' and actually receiving it?

I say it varies from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. So it actually depends on each application. some move faster and some slower.

i landed on 29 October at Caraway Alberta, Ecas status changed to in process on 14 November , still waiting for card..

If you haven't done the landing yet, then do it after you return from your travel. Right now it seems that its unlikely to finish in 2 months ... If you haven't land, you can still enter Canada with your work visa and TRV.

I have a business travel I have to go to US and I have another travel afterwards.
I still have valid TRV, can I choose to come back from US with TRV? or I will be "forced" to do the landing when I come back?
