Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Def not 2 weeks. CIC posted me a letter last Wednesday from NS and I received it in Edmonton, AB on Tuesday (remember monday was a holiday). So U should receive it in 3 days, max 4 days. My guess.

Thanks for the reply mate My Pr Card got mailed on Tuesday morning and I am kinda hoping to receive it before the weekend, Monday the latest. Will see though.

I haven't received card yet after 15 days from the date it started from Ottawa to Toronto.

I checked all Canada post counters around my area and the headquarter, problem is they can't track the status of normal mail.
CIC call centre guys tell that they have sent the card and wait for over a month, if not received then request again.

So much trouble because of this: they could have asked us to send another express post envelop at least we could track it, sending such an important id through normal mail doesn't make sense…now it is lost somewhere... god knows where…….I had to cancel my planned trip have been waiting almost from 4 months now…landed on 10th May….

I wish not many applicants suffer in similar situation if you have planned any trip out of Canada counting on PR card...

Chill out mate! You just landed on August 16th! Give it some more time, I'm pretty sure your photos are fine.

I just called the CIC call centre two days ago and they said I should receive the card by September 22nd. So add 15 days to that date in your case. They told me currently it takes between 35 days to 50.
I landed on August 1st by the way.

Stay patient, you'll receive your card with no problems.

hi everyone ,

i landed on 5th march not received pr card yet
called cic they told me it is posted to me on 5th June i never received .i was told to wait till mail delay pass time of 6 weeks by cic
after i didn't got ,i called them they told me to send solemnly declaration form that card never received ,i sent them then i was told by them you will get in 3-4 weeks ,again i called they told me it will v posted to me on 15th august ,again after 2 weeks i called and asked they told it will take time ,
i called 4 times every time i got different statement .
what i shall do any suggestion guys ????

Landed on Sept 6th at Niagara ..spent 30 mins in US and then came back to land. It was pretty quick and smooth. The wait for PR card begins. BTW - I will get new SIN and health card. Do I need to contact CRA as well?

Hi, no you don't need to contact CRA.

I am waiting for PR card. My application status says "Complete" and with the 5th point stating that I landed in so and so place.

Where can I find the PR card processing status? Also I have given change in address, how long would it take to reflect in the system because it still shows the old address?

Landed at Calgary Airport on September 6th.

This guy said around 2 months.... I expect that is a "don't contact CIC if it is less than 2 months". Anyway.... I expect to have it by mid October.

I landed on 15th July and as per CIC i should wait until sep 12th. my ECAS for PR card shows complete this morning. In process since Aug 12th. Let's hope we both receive our cards in coming weeks. Thanks

How do you check the status of your PR CARD processing. I know how to check ECAS for the PR application.
