I WAS READING ALL TOPICS IT WAS QUITE INTERESTING ANSWERS TO SOME OF THE QUESTIONS

MY QUESTION

I LANDED AS IMMIGRANT ON 5TH MARCH 2014 BY RAINBOW BRIDGE I DIDN'T RECEIVED MY PR CARD YET ,I CALLED CIC ON THERE NO. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS POSTED ME ON 5TH JUNE 2014 I WAITED FOR 6 WEEKS AS PER ACCORDING TO THERE MAIL DELAY PASS TIME ,I SENT THEM SOLEMLY DECLARATION FORM FOR NOT NEVER RECEIVED PR CARD ,AND THEY TOLD ME I WILL GET IN 4 WEEKS ,THEN AGAIN I CALLED AND ASKED ABOUT STATUS THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL POST ME ON 15TH AUGUST 2014 ,AND WILL GET IN TWO WEEKS AGAIN I CALLED LAST WEEK THEY ARE SAYING ME IT WILL TAKE TIME ,ITS MY FIRST CARD I NEVER RECEIVED IN MAIL ITS NOT MY FAULT IAM NOT GETTING PROPER INFORMATION FROM THEM EXACTLY HOW MUCH TIME IT WILL TAKE ..IF ANY ONE KNOWS HERE IT WILL BE VERY THANKFULL IT IS GIVING ME STRESS NOW

55 days , and nothing on ecas about pr card, is that normal? anyone have same situation

Are you talking about the link, where application status was checked? Will this link have an update the PR card processing after landing?

The processing time for PR card for new immigrants is just 36 days and this is stated in CIC website.

yes the ecas link where you used to check the immigration visa status, others say that they have pr card status on it , but i have nothing yet

some have received in my known ,i am in same thing i landed 5th march not received yet ,call centre not giving exact information i called 4 times all 4 call centre agents gave me different different statements..dont knw wht to do ???

Just phoned the call center to see why the PR card is taking so long to arrive (45 days so far vs 36 days on their website). Said that they require me to submit new photos.......WTF!!! I asked the guy at the landing if my photos were OK and he said yes! Now I have to wait more and spend more money on stupid pictures.

Anyone else go through the same situation??? What happens next? Thanks.

I landed on Apr 23. After patiently waiting for over 4 months, today I received a letter stating that my photos are non-compliant and need to re-take the photos again and send it to them!

i called cic and they told me that my application is under verification and it will take additional time.. any one have the same situation?

Hi Winni, I had the same situation. Landed Apr 23, Verification started on June 18th and ended on Aug 15th. CIC said the verification was fine and they ordered card production. Now I got a letter asking me to submit photos. I guess, its the card production team that looks for the photo compliance.

Just received my PR cards today. For those whose processing days have passed the CIC provided times call up the call center for a status.

Hi Folks,

Landed on July 15th @Rainbow Bridge. If anyone receives PR card around similar timeframe kindly acknowledge here. B.t.w ECAS shows in process since Aug 12th.

i landed on 1st july and i recieved my card more thn a week ago.

my dear , they asked to submit photos personally or in mail?
