Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

yes !! i landed on 25 July at carway. no new window online, called call centre last week , they told me to call back on 8 sep.

I called today, the processing times have been changed from 21, then after few days to 28 and now I see it is 36 days. CIC rep mentioned that the timeline gets updated everyday depending on the workload.

and she also mentioned that it would be No. of days in timeline + 2 weeks for it to be delivered by Regular Mail

Validity is 5 years from date of issue.

Just returned from US Consulate Vancouver.
Interview was simple. They asked about family, status in Canada, Job, relation in US and purpose of trip to USA.
simple 5-10 interview.
Officer told us our visa is approved and we have to collect our passport form Loomis Branch in 3-4 days.

Congrats! Just out-of curiosity, did your ECAS PR window status change to Complete before you received your PRC?

status changed to complete on 23 august

Congrats! Just out-of curiosity, did your ECAS PR window status change to Complete before you received your PRC?

Thanks. Regarding your query, I can't really say when was it changed. I only checked the status today and it says complete; there is no date mention about the status was changed to complete.. Last Wednesday it was still showing processing. So it must have changed between Wednesday and today. By the way our cards were printed on 21st Aug.

Hi guys,
I believe all of you aware about new laws (Bill C-24) that related to citizenship and as per new law you need to spend 4 years out of last 6 years.
Did anybody have idea if PR card validity and maximum allowed time time that we can spent outside Canada changed??!!
As per current we need to stay inside Canada 2 years minimum to maintain our permanent residency status. any changes in this regard due to Bill C-24??!
Please let share the ideas

Checking ECAS right now... Let's see what it says...

It says complete when I click on it there is nothing inside except for

We received your application for a permanent resident card on July 12, 2014.

We started processing your application on August 8, 2014.

But like I said the agent said it was mailed out for me and my husband...

So, hopefully, unless Canada Post fu**s it up, I will receive it soon...

Wanna touch that piece of plastic finally...
