I landed on 14 May 2014 still waiting for the magic card

Today, I called them they said its sent to production but if I don't receive by another one month i.e. 15 Sept then I will have to call them again.

in the meantime I managed to obtain amendment of CORP== status verification document
Received PR card today August, 15

Im on 7th heaven!
So so happy!
Cant wait to get home and touch that freakin piece of plastic

I am a Feb applicant. I am still waiting on MR. I have a trip planned in Oct.

I am hoping to land before I leave, but I doubt I will get the PR card in time.

Can I have my roomate ship my card to me overseas?

That's really a question to ask your roommate. Unless you want to provide his phone number so we can ask him?

Hi I was on a same situation like you my file was under verification due to silly officer mistake on COPR. I was told by CIC agent on July 25th file Amendment and as per their instruction I sent the Amendment request on Aug 02 and you know what before my Amendment request the card was printed on July 31 and I did receive my card on Aug 6th. After week of that I did receive my original COPR copy but with out any changes. I dont know but they just return my original copy with out marking anything.

But anyway finally everything end happily with just piece of plastic card..... so happy.... good luck for all other guys...............................

Hi just a word of caution, make sure your COPR has the correct information with no mistakes. I was told by a friend that COPR document is needed during your citizenship application.

I called back the call centre today again - 4 weeks after my first call when they said that the local CIC office will be contacting me. They said that they sent an email to the local office asking why I still haven't been scheduled yet. There is no timeline as to when I can expect to be contacted by the local office. The agent told me that I can call back in a week again and ask if there is any new note on my file.

same as my situation...but i relax at least I landed and became to Canadian permanent resident....

I always checked the ecase with immigration file no as my wife is primary applicant. Today I checked my ecase for first time with my UCI. I found PR card status windows there. they have started processing on 15 July. I got letter on 23rd july and submitted snaps on 25th july. Till now no update in ecase and called twice CIC office. Even they don't have any update on file.
I am permanent resident now, but a lot things are pending just due to PR card. I have PHN and Driving livence but don't have Driving Licence Card and Health Services Card. They will send only when they will see my PR Card.

Ha ha ha.
Hope this wait will end very soon.

Process on my file began on 17 July, and
My PR card Mailed on 7 Augest.

but I haven't received it yet.

Does anybody knows that what kind of mail they mail PR cards with?

hi. does your ecas show the start of processing as 17th July ? I landed on the 25th June and have no info about the pr card on ecas
