I landed on May 10th, that was two months back. The PR CARD Application box started appearing in ECAS from today.. It says they started processing the PR Card on July 18th.

I have exactly same timeline in ecas.

The new box " The PR CARD Aapplications " is in addition to the other box about Permanent Residence. Would it be possible for
You to share the remarks in both windows.

We landed on 20th March, but no PR CARDS yet and no new window on ecas ?.

Remarks are similar to your PR application.

1. Received PR card application.

2. Started processing your application.

I have landed on 16th July at Rainbow bridge, they took my home address and said that the card will be mailed within 8 weeks. After 2 days I saw my ECAS been updated to complete with my home address been added, but mailing address still showing with my lawyer, Do I need to change the mailing address as well in order to get the card at my home ?

Hi,

Where does the home address appear ? Does it appear in a separate window ?.

I landed on May 27th and I see nothing new on the ECAS, not even the RP card box :(

PR Application box has status as complete with standard remarks within it..

PR Card Box says below on clicking on status 'In Process'..

Permanent Resident Card
We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 10, 2014.
We started processing your application on July 18, 2014.

Ok, maybe they have started this recently and available for the applicants who did landing in last one month. This is just a guess.

While going through the remarks made by participants of this forum, you would notice that ecas is neeither a reliable tool nor it has consistency.

I notice some candidates receive PR CARD without any change in their ecas status.

hmm...landed on may 11th, called CIC and they said they mailed my card on july 9th to my lawyer's adress, lawyer says he has nothing for me

That's good news! It means you are finally out of the queue and in the system. You should get your card pretty soon.

Today I got letter to submit new snaps for PR card.

Hi Subu75,

What does the letter ask you exactly? How many copies of photos did they ask for? Was there any other forms to fill out? Where did they ask you to send it?

Thanks.

they told that snaps submitted at time or arrival are not up to specification, so I have to submit 2 Snaps for each person in their office. I have to go to their office with passport and COPR.
It is specifically mentioned that I can't send pics by mail.
Date given is 25th July if otherwise I want to change.

Take care.
