94 DAYS SERIOUSLY?

In a sad way that's actually progress on CIC's part. They were almost able to keep up this week :P

I was thinking about the same.. they improved their performance this week ;)

Hi Guys,

I'm planning to do my landing by the niagara/buffalo border next week. Is it automatic that they'll know that I'll need a PR card or do I have to mention it or bring anything else apart from my COPR and passport?

Thanks!

You will have to give your Canadian address. Only after receiving Canadian address with in 180 days of your landing, they will process your PR card (it's automatic, no need to apply). Otherwise, you will have to apply for PR card by yourself by paying 50$.
When I did my landing, the officer asked my residential proof. Better to have your rental agreement handy if you have any.

Thanks rawfile! Did you have to fill up anything or that's just it?

They would give a form to fill which includes Canadian address among other fields.
