Hello, I landed on 25th April at Pearson airport. I called the call center two days earlier and they said it's in progress. One thing I missed asking was about the address in eCAS. It still shows my home country address. It has not been updated. Any ideas when this will be updated to the Canada address I gave them when I landed?
Need to travel in August. Not sure if we would get out cards by then :(

Hi Guys,
Landed on 10 March 2014 and nothing till the date hope it moves soon for all of us ;)
Regards,
Archit

The same happened with me. I updated my current address with them a day after I landed in March.
When I called CIC yesterday, she said they have my old address. I have given my current address and asked if this change delays my PR card as I have to travel around July end. She said there will be no change in PR card processing because of this update.

My online application shows correct address since March. The address gets updated online in a couple of days after you give it to CIC.

If your online application shows correct address, you need not worry I guess. :)

So do I have to call Cic and update the address again?
Or would they update it when I they pick up my file?

My file is not picked up yet but I see my updated address online!

I would suggest to call them to verify the address on file and update if its not updated. First you can ask them if this change would affect your processing.
They would not process the file unless they have Canadian address. It's better late than never :)

Yes it would effect processing time as you can see they have clearly mention on the cic processing time website that the waiting period of 85 days will effect once you provide Canadian address.

You all guys can update the address online too on cic website.

Where are we at with the processing of PR cards right now? :) Making any progress at all?

Nothing new with me! Still e-cas shows In process since May 26. Do you have any idea how long it will take for them to send the card after they have started the processing?
