Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hello all,
I have done landing on 2 April but I have left Canada around 15 April bcs of work. My fiend will send my PR card to me. Can I then enter Canada with PR card after receiving or I have to apply the travel document as immigration web page says. Any experience? Need your help. If I enter with my PR card what will happen?

Travel documents are required for the people without PR card. So if you get the card, you don't need to apply for any travel document and you will use your PPR card instead.

Here's some interesting math...

Last week the processing time was quoted at 68 days. So in 7 days the processing time got worse by 8 days?!

I know that it's just an average so it is possible, but that just doesn't look right.

I agree, that's intense! I'll keep an eye on the spreadsheet and see if it actually
slows down significantly or what's the deal with that...

Received PR card today including family members .Ecas upadated today morning to inprocess.

Awesome. I landed 1 month after you so hopefully only one more month to wait or a bit longer. I can live with that.

We landed last feb 18. On april 25, we received our pr cards except for my wife (i got mine and 2 for my kids).
Ecas status says that pr card application us completed.

I called cic yesterday and asked what happened to my wife's pr card.they say that they are "verifying".
But did not explain what this "verifying" process is nor stated the timeline to finish the verification part.

Anyone encountered the same scenario?

My case is similar we landed in Jan 31 ;2014 I got all the family cards except for my daughter I called CIC and they told me its under verification....

anybody please what is the timeline given for this process!!for those who faced the same issue what was your timeline....please advise. .
