I am a mid april landing applicant.

This means it is going to be long wait before we receive our PR cards!

Does anyone know if we can apply for a Travel Document from within Canada if I intend to travel to America on a small vacation or do I need to apply in the US at the Canadian embassy for the Travel document to get back into Canada.

I have COPR on my passport and I will be traveling in a bus.

Please advice.

You should be able to update your address on ECAS.

until we recieve our PR card is the copr considered our "Record of Landing". I just got a new job and for my background check they asked for my record of landing I am hoping I don't have to wait for PR card to start work.

CoPR = Record of Landing

Record of Landing is the old term, used when PR's were referred to as "landed immigrants".

Anyone else received their card this week? According to the spreadsheet, only 1 card received on Monday! I'm at 70 days now and it still says 68 days on the website. It seems like they're getting even slower! I just tried calling the call centre and they wouldn't even take it, just an automated message saying "we are unable to take your call at this time, please consult the website".

I'm really hoping it speeds up soon, surely it can't take too much longer! I only have a couple weeks of holidays left before I start my job and I really wanted to fly home to visit my family I haven't seen in over a year.
