Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

guys pls help me here

I am going to land next week and i know the pr card is mailed to yo but most of the time m mails go missing from the box since I share it a lot of people...I am very afraid that I may not get it at all ( hopeful not)..so is there a special way I can ask them to send mine? like in a envelope with tracking or so? or receive it from somewhere.. pls help me..its urgent

If you're landing next week it's not urgent so keep calm.
You can't ask for any special services - your only option is to give another address. As long as it's in canada then it can go wherever you like. Even if you change your mind you just update your address in ecas and it's all sorted.
I presume you received your COPR safely though?!?

i will go with m address rather than providing a friends ( he/she may not care) ...but can we somehow know when approximately we shall receive the card? ( apart from the current processing time thingy)??

There's the processing tracker on here which is quite accurate and if you check ecas you may see your card appear on or around day it's mailed. Ecas as you know isn't that reliable though

I took the liberty of organizing the spreadsheet by date as some people landed much before adding themselves to the spreadsheet, so the dates were all over the place. Now they are ordered by date.

Hi , joining the thread.

I landed today, April, 2nd at Rainbow Bridge.
According to the immigration officer I am supposed to receive a PRC in 6-9 weeks.

So timer's on

landed today 2nd april at fort erie,officer said it will take 8-12 weeks to get your pr card in mail.

I got today 2 pr cards for my kuds i still have to wait for the third card however ; one pr card for my daughter is showing her father name e.g family name then her name and in the last her father name ...for my second daughter its only showing her family name the her name.. please advise do I need to replace tge card with the father name especially given the fact that on her copr her father name is not written??does this will make any problem when I enter Canada ?pleaseeeee help

I would say for safety ask for a replacement, however call cic and explain them the situation they should have an advice for you
