how do you check your PR card status?

When I login into ECAS on the following address, it only shows my applications for permanent residence.

it appears automatically under the PR application status. To be honest, It appeared for me yesterday and my card was received today so it's right at the end of the process. Some forum members however didn't have that box appear at all.
Best thing is to keep an eye on the tracker to work out when yours is due - they appear to be sticking quite nicely with the processing times as published.

Yes, my advice, wait. Wait for a couple of days, if you don't get the missing cards, call the CIC hotline.

I saw the U-turn but didn't want to risk it. I went to the US side and got refused.

Ok, finally today I got my card.
Took only 119 days from landing.
But this is it, finally this journey is complete. yay!
good luck to everyone who are still waiting!!!
just in case you are wondering the delay with the card was caused by some sort of verifications they were doing.
It wasn't related to PR status, but to the card itself. No one really could tell what was going on, but the good part is that it's over

I am in the same boat too. completed landing on 12 Jan 2014, my wife and daughter received the PR card promptly in first week of March. No news on my PR card. Just spoke to the callcentre today-same story about some additional verification being done. No ETC available. So just wait and watch.

Fortunately, everything has been smooth until now, hope this does not take too long.

I am in the same situation. It is a bit frustrating, but I don't think anything can be done. We just have to wait at this point.
I landed on Nov 29th, 2013 and still am waiting.
Called the call center couple of times, and same answer. Some kind of verification in relation to the PR card, they don't know what it is actually and how long it will take...
so anyway... in the meantime had to travel out of the country, and in order to come back had to go to a canadian consulate to get a travel document. Cost me time and $50, but wasn't hard to get. It's a bit of inconvenience, and a little bit ridiculous that it takes so long to print a card hopefully you'll get yours soon, and I am hoping mine is getting ready as well. For me now the wait time is 110 days
