I landed on Sep 25 and still waiting for PR card. I called CIC and it seems they hav a huge backlog of cards and told me to expect the card by end of Nov.

Anyone in the same boat?

I landed on Sep 29. I don't understand if there is a backlog, then why the processing times are going down every week. In just 3 weeks the processing time has been dropped from 60 to 43 now.

Did you try calling CIC to check your PR card status?

Landed on 27th September and still waiting for our PR cards. Is there any effect of Postal and current address on Ecas ? 5 days ago my postal address is appeared same as home address.

Just landed on Nov.9. It will be interesting to see how soon the card arrives -- although I'm concerned that we changed our address online but our COPR letters were forwarded from our last address.

We landed on Aug 21st. Received my wife's PR card but havent received mine and my daughter's..Just checked the Ecas and found that my home address is wrong but my mailing address is correct one..Any idea which address they would use to mail my PR card?
Oh BTW my wife's PR card came to my company lawyers address (They had renewed our work permits while my PR was in process)..
CIC is so efficient...arent they???

I assume they should send to the mailing address (that's the whole point of mailing address)...

Have you called CIC about your PR card? Since it's much longer than posted timelines (38 days), you should call and ask.

Today when I call them to check the status of the card, they are telling me that I will receive the card only after Dec 5 since the 43 days of processing time will start from Oct 23 and not from Sep 25. This is very weird...

I think this is not true...although the processing time has been drastically reduced in past few weeks...people who landed in September haven't got their cards yet.

Someone in the forum also called CIC and they mentioned that the reduced timelines is applicable only to those who landed after October 24

That does not make sense. My understanding is that CIC processing times are for past applications.
