Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi Everyone,

I did my landing process at the Rainbow Bridge Border (Niagara falls) on Feb. 25, 2017. I'm waiting on my PR card and reside in Toronto. I know it's a bit early to check at this point on when will I be receiving my PR card but any idea?

Update!!
I just called CIC today and was told that my card was mailed today. So I should be receiving anytime soon. This is close to 46 days (CIC's current average time for PR cards).

I landed on Feb 16th. They mailed my card on March 23rd. But, still I didn't get it.
Living in Guelph, Ontario.
What should I do?

Hi everyone,

I am an inland applicant and recently landed in Montreal. (1 week ago).

Do they request new photos from inland people as well? I am confused, since we send them 2 photos with the PPR anyways..

How does it work? Also, how do you check the status of your first PR card on eCas?

You can call CIC to check on your PR card's status. But DO NOT call too early. Call only when you're near to the normal processing time (currently it is 46 days).
They do not ask for photos to everyone, unless the pictures you sent before would not meet the specifications.

I called CIC 2 days ago (45 days completed by then) and they told me that the file is still in verification process. I called them again yesterday and the representative told me that the file has been approved and it's in production.

Later, in the afternoon I received an email asking for photos. I had to travel in 2 more weeks and hopefully I'll get it by then.

I too got an update from CIC. My card was mailed out today o 05-April-2017 and I too live in Montreal. Just wondering how long does it taked to receive the card in Montreal after being mailed out.

Just worried because flying out next week.

Since your card was mailed on April 05, i would say you should receive it sometime around April 11 or 12.

I landed on 17th Mar at Vancouver, and the status was changed on 7th Apr.
