When i called cic the agent told me i should resubmit photos.
Do i send them withbthe supplimentary identification form before i receive the letter or i wait?

I am going to INDIA on 20th without the PR card. There is a layover of 4 hours in UK. Is it mandatory for transit VISA? my friends family was denied from boarding the flight from Halifax as they didnt have PR card and a transit VISA to UK.

I am also in the same situation and a bit tensed. Did anyone pass through without a transit recently?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Chk with ur airlines they may deny u the boarding pass in canada itself.

I landed on October 12, 2015 in Alberta, and received my card on January 28, 2016. Based on the issued date, it looks like it took about a week to be delivered.

If you don't have PRC and you passport-country is requests for uk visa then you must obtain uk transit visa.. If you have PRC and you will not layover more then 24h you are fine ..

From my example and others, it seems that Ontario landers should receive their cards generally within 85-90 days. Vancouver seems to be awfully slow.
