Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

CIC told me they cannot see whether the pictures were delivered, its not in the system... So I have to wait. No update on ecas and its been a month so far. It is so frustrating.

I know its really frustrating! You know what don't give this a F... its all BS. I am sure you will get your Card don't worry my friend.

Just I need to clarify one thing from the experts

Iam planing to land in January but I was informed

1) I have to be present in Montreal to get PR as it will not be mailed ( new procedures )
Is this correct .

2) can I ask the officer in the airport if the photos on the COPR is correct or it need to be changed ?

2) upon landing do I have to change the adress and email adress by myself from CIC site or it will be changed

Once landed via immigration officer ?

3) can I give in the airport adress in Toronto or it should be in Montreal ?

Update: ECAS changed to Complete today. Hoping for my PR card next week.

1) It will be mailed to your Canadian Address - even if you're not in Canada, it will be mailed to the address that you give to the officer at the airport.

2) I'm sure you must have sent the photographs earlier which were accepted by them, hence, your case proceeded - so have those pics ready - but I'm sure they wouldn't mind you asking that question

3) I believe you're referring to the Ecas website - yes, you'll need to change yourself online.

4) Your address should be of a city/town where you'll be living - you can land in any city of Canada.

I would be able to answer you on some of your q.

If you are landing on non quebec region, PR card will be sent to non quebec side.
Officer would not be able to assess if pictures in COPR are ok, as it will be scanned before PR card is printed.
Generally address on file will be updated in CIC in few weeks. There is no harm in updating address in CIC once you landed. In my case, when i landed, address in COPR didnt appear in CIC site. To avoid any confusion on mailing addrss, I changed the address myself on online.

That's wonderful, because many people who landed in Aug and Sept have seen changes this week.

After calling cic the lady told me that it might be stuck in the backlog, anyone else from july who didn't got their card yet or is it just me?

Oh!!! That isn't really something good for those waiting for PR cards.

As what members here are saying, it takes upto 5-10 working days for the delivery of the cards once online status as changed. Let's see how it goes...!
