Hi,
you'll probably get your PR card within 10 days.

Hi All,

We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 4, 2014.
We started processing your application on October 3, 2014.

I just checked my mailbox and I received my card as well..

Finally its over, Thanks for all the support.

Congrats !! My status says the same as yours ..
But I haven't received my card yet..
Which part of canada are you from?

Hi,
I hope one of you can help me on this. I applied under CEC and returned to India. I got my immigrant visa and COPR that is valid till January 2015. Unfortunately I can't stay in Canada until I receive my PR card. Can I give my friends address when I land?. Will it cause any issue if I return immediately after landing?

Hi,
yes, you can do it without any problem.

PR card still under review from 18th July..
95 Days waiting

As per some other threads ,Review is their internal process and they are not reviewing your documents.

But at the end of the day ,they are screwing applicant.

As per CIC site ,New PR card processing time has reduced to 34 days ...last week it was 40 days. ..

I am waiting from My wife's PR and we landed on 22nd June. WTF these guys are doing when normal processing time is 40 days.

Did u called them ? if yes what r they saying ...

I landed at Beaver Creek YT on 29th Aug (Friday evening). The present processing time to get the first PR card for new immigrants as per the web is 34 days. There is no update on my card status yet.

To day I happen to give a call to the office of the Border Security Force at Beaver Creek to find out more about the request procedure for issue of initial PR card to new immigrants. I am told that since their office is very small in a remote place, after completing the landing formalities, they send PR card request documents by Canada Post to the concerned Immigration office every Friday, sometimes alternate Fridays. He asked me to check with the concerned office to inquire about the PR card status.

I will appreciate if someone please post the Call center contact phone with detailed extension numbers to find out the status of PR card in this forum.

Yes, I called them many times. First of all, Many of them are Idiots who says they can't update me about my wife's status as it is against law but they can take both of us in same file. Secondly, they are saying it is under other officer's review. Third, it is hard to get them on call. Pathetic Service!

Just now, I checked with them (now there was no Law) and lady confirmed me it is under Production. Not sure, if status is changed or it is different theory from them.
