Waiting for Passport - Please add your case here

Hi All,

I have sent my passport last week and it is was received at CIC on March 18 2016. My timelines are on the left.

My passport was received by CIC on 10th March. I just checked and return tracker has been activated.

Just had CIC call me to confirm the address, since I put the mailing address at my work.

Said they will send it out today, so should get in on Monday wohoo

Still waiting for the tracker to be activated. If I get the passport on Monday, will do the landing either Monday or Tuesday at rainbow bridge.

Just keep in mind that this weekend is Easter weekend and many people will travel and return on Monday. If I were you I would check how busy the bridge is before going there. Unless you don't mind waiting a bit.

It happened exactly the same mistake with me!
During processing of the postal code, Canada Post made a mistake and ended up sending my passport and CoPR to another city. Fortunately they corrected the problem and I received everything with one day of delay.

Don't worry: you will get your passport and CoPR.

I would suggest you to contact Canada Post just to be sure they are aware the envelope contains your passport and you need it as soon as possible. The agent from Camada Post I spoke on phone told me they are very sensitive to cases involving passports.

Mine was also activated same day but Canada Post tracker does not have a delivery date and only has "processed". I'm a bit worried about that. Even though I think its due to the public holiday. Does yours have an estimated delivery day? Or did it arrive today(Monday)?
