Waiting for CAQ

Hey I am facing the same issue


I have applied for CAQ in March. My documents were recieved on 25th March 2020. I have not recieved any acknowledgement/email/notification which says they have recieved the documents. Though they confirmed when I called on the helpline.
I have not received my CAQ yet. Does it take so long?
Is it important to pay the initial college fees for the CAQ approval?

Please Guide!

it took about 2 month and half for me (my docs were received on march 17th).
you just have to have you letter of admission

I paid college fee beforehand later I applied for CAQ
It will take nearly 80-85 days

Guys, I just got my CAQ!
Here's my complete time line:
March 27: Acknowledgement of receipt of your application
March 27: Confirmation of payment
March 28: Opening of your file
(April 8: Canada Post confirmed that my documents were delivered)
June 5: 2020-04-08 Receipt of your documents
June 7: Issue of your CAQ for studies

April 8: DHL confirmed that my documents were delivered)
June 6: 2020-04-08 Receipt of your documents
June 8: Issue of your CAQ for studies

22March opening my file
30 March Canada Post confirmed that my documents were delivered.
But I still haven't received any confirmation. Is there anyone with a similar situation?

Hi, here is my timeline for CAQ:

April 4-> opening of file
April 9 -> My docs were delivered by courier
June 9->Receipt of documents (dated April 9)
June 10-> Issue of CAQ

Hope this helps.

CAQ approved, took about 71 days to complete the entire process.

3 April - Confirmation of payment
4 April - Opening of your file
14 April - Docs delivered by courier
9 June - Acknowledgment of receipt
10 June - Issue of CAQ

I am waiting for CAQ too.
The processing times listed here are scary. o_O
My fall term is remote. Not sure if the Uni will insist that I have Study Permit before I have to travel (ie. winter term.)
Do your processing times include Saturdays and Sundays?
Did Corona lockdown affect submissions in March and April?

CAQ "approval" is sent in e-mail. You can use it to apply Study Permit.
CAQ is sent as a paper document, with copy to Canada High Commission in your country.
If usually takes two-three weeks for CAQ paper to arrive.
You can call Quebec immigration if you know French.
