Hello everyone, I am currently in a confusing situation, although I deeply research about it. I am posting this to ask for some advice. My situation:
I tried to look up the information. The more I read the more it becomes confusing. I even directly emailed the IRCC but all I received is a general response.
I’d really like to hear your perspective to this matter. I don’t really want to discontinue my work here since I have spent almost 10 years studying and working in Canada. Thanks everyone in advance.
- My parent (a principal applicant for Quebec Investor Immigration Program) submitted the file in 08/2019 including me as a dependent child because I was under 22 years old -> I suppose my age locked-in at that time.
- My parent and I received CSQs in 11/2023, valid until 11/2025.
- They submitted PR application (also including me as a dependent child) received AOR in 03/2024.
- An agency helped my parent apply( 04/2024) and was issued a closed work permit (07/2024-11/2026) as an entrepreneur ( I don’t know why my agent applied for that kind of work permit). -> The confusion starting from here.
- During all of these processes, I am studying and eventually working in Canada under study permit and PGWP, respectfully.
- My PGWP will expire in 06/2026
