Hi guys, how is everyone here, i hoe you and your families are good. I know this question has been answered here before. But i wanted to ask you guys in my own case. Heres our case:

My wife received her passport request from Canadian Embassy in Manila this past Friday (only took us 4 months of waiting :) ;D)). She has sent passport along with photos and Appendix A form to embassy as of this past Monday June 30th, 2014. How long will it take to get passport with visa back, some folks saying 2 weeks some saying a month. In my case i am Canadian Citizen from Toronto, in the case of Canada or Toronto in particular. Can anyone let me know, thank you so much and God Bless.

Sincerely Alex from Toronto :)

it doesn't make a difference whether you are a citizen from toronto, or a pr from winnepeg. Where the sponsor is from has no bearing on how long the process takes. No one can tell you for sure how long it will take to get your wife's passport back. Some visa offices take months to give back passports, some only weeks. Every visa office does things differently, and every officer that handles files does things at various speeds. The best way to get an estimate is to ask in the manila thread, which it sounds like you have already done.
